Silexica has released new SLX version which has various new features. It gives hints of C code optimization and refactoring for Xilinx VivadoHLS. It inserts HLS pragma automatically to increase design productivity. Also, new SLX provides special analysis capabilities including multi-process/thread analysis, shared memory analysis and shared variable analysis, etc.
We doing presentation and demo and workshop with FPGA by Silexica in this Exhibition.

SLX C / C ++ provides the following information by statically and dynamically analyzing multi-process and multi-threaded code.
・ Analysis of hot spots
・ Access analysis of global and local variables
・ Analysis of shared memory (it is possible to analyze whether it is protected)
・ Detection of parallelizable code
・ Guidance display for software optimization and acceleration

SLX FPGA

SLX FPGAs provide the following functions to assist SW engineers to implement FPGAs, which was a very tough for SW engineer.
・ Static / dynamic analysis of existing C / C ++ code to detect heavy processing points
・ Detects data level parallelizable parts and pipelineable parts
・ Detects descriptions that cannot be input to high-level synthesis tool and displays hints for changes
・ Predicts speed improvement when mapped to HW
・ Automatic insertion of pragmas for high-level synthesis
・ Automatic implementation on FPGA by using Xilinx tool in the background
